Test on Recobond 3000AG material, manufactured by our mother company, Resco Products, installed by gunning on existing refractory material using standard equipment, no treatment on the surface on which it was installed and no anchoring system.
Thanks to its chemical bonding technology (Resco Products invented and patented a formula, AA-22, today Rescobond AA-22S, the world’s first chemically bonded air setting refractory that could be mixed fresh on site) the material grips and anchors itself to the existing refractory.
The materials Rescobond 3000G and Rescobond 3000AG (prefix A indicates that it is dedicated to the aluminum industry) are the perfect and fast solution for urgent repairs that allow the unit to be able to continue operation up to a scheduled shutdown.
